Dr. Abdul Ahad Kazi has several years of national and international experience in the field of ophthalmology. He completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the prestigious Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has two fellowships in Diseases of the Vitreous and Retina, one from Louisiana State University and the other from Tulane University. He has national and international publications in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Kazi has served as a Visiting Professor of Ophthalmology in Pakistan sponsored by the Higher Education Commission. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Kazi enjoys being able to serve the patients of Anniston, Alabama and surrounding areas with his distinguished training and background. His areas of special interest are:
Anterior Segment Surgery i.e. premium cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and coronal transplant surgery
Management of Medical Diseases of the Vitreous and Retina i.e. Diabetic Retinopathy and Macular Degeneration
